Board Overview
What Is the School Advisory Board?

The St. Theresa School Advisory Board ensures the school operates in alignment with policies set forth by the Diocese of Oakland Department of Catholic Schools. Members are nominated by fellow board members and administrators, with the blessing and approval of our Pastor, Fr. Bob McCann.

Each year, the board elects a President and Vice President. Members serve on one of three standing committees — Facilities, Finance, or Marketing — each led by a chair responsible for reporting on committee progress.

The board meets monthly with attendance from the Pastor, Principal, school staff, Parent Club, CYO, and the previous year's President serving as parliamentarian. This five-year plan outlines the near-term and long-term goals that will strengthen St. Theresa for years to come.
